Air Pollution Sensitization Manual
2024
This sensitization manual serves as guide for DEHOs of the District Assemblies and HPOs of the District Health Directorates. The manual guide provides a basic understanding of the air pollution problem, sources of air pollution, health impacts of air pollution, vulnerable populations and mitigation measures as well as steps for sensitizing communities about air pollution.

Utility of low-cost sensor measurement for predicting ambient PM2.5 concentrations: evidence from a monitoring network in Accra, Ghana
2025
This study explores the use of low-cost sensors to estimate PM2.5 air pollution in Accra, comparing their data with satellite-based AOD using machine learning models. Results showed AOD only partially explains PM2.5 levels, with better model accuracy in the dry season. The findings suggest low-cost sensors can complement AOD data but require location-specific corrections to be reliable.
